Kathmandu, Sept 6: The Nepali Congress has taken the physical attack on Joint General-Secretary of the party, Mahendra Yadav, seriously and condemned it.
The party strongly condemned the incident occurred today, reads a press release issued by Chief Secretary at the NC Party Office, Krishna Prasad Paudel.
Yadav was attacked when he was exiting from a programme organised at Reporters’ Club. He is now undergoing treatment at Trauma Centre in Kathmandu.
The NC has strongly demanded the government to carry out investigation into the case and stern action against those involved in the incident. The party wished Yadav a speedy recovery.
