Kathmandu, Dec 8: The Transparency International Nepal (TI Nepal) has drawn attention of the bodies concerned to carry out necessary works for the promotion of good governance.

Releasing a press statement on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, the TI Nepal reminded it had been frequently drawing attention of the parliament, government and all political parties in the country that involvement in illegal property, impunity and misconducts could make the country unsuccessful.

TI Nepal Chairperson Padmini Pradhananga mentioned that the TI Nepal expressed worry that none of responsible bodies of the country were able or showed willingness for effective and result-oriented activities on this matter.

The Chairperson urged the parliament, government and all political parties to immediately stop the endless series of activities that ignore country’s law and judiciary system. It is necessary to guide the country in the path of good governance by ending corruption and misconduct so that country’s economy could be revived, she underscored.
