Janakpurdham, Dec 12: Former minister and Chairperson of Janata Pragatisheel Party Hridayesh Tripathi has said that alternative to the incumbent government is unlikely right at this moment.
At a news conference in Janakpurdham on Tuesday, Tripathi said that no government can do different than this one under the current circumstances.
He was of the view that the coalition government cannot perform popular jobs adding that no party holds a majority in the parliament due to the mixed electoral system.
“Prime Minister Prachanda has a wish to do something. But, government formed with diverse ideological bases cannot work as expected,” Tripathi shared.
On the occasion, he shared that the Constitution should be amended in regard to the electoral system and existing model of federalism.
