PM Dahal meets Oli, Nepal to discuss about contemporary politics

Kathmandu, March 12: Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, today held a meeting with CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal.
During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, the three discussed about the country’s contemporary political atmosphere, the Prime Minister’s schedule to seek a vote of confidence in the Federal Parliament on Wednesday and the election of the National Assembly (NA) Chairperson scheduled for today, according to Prime Minister’s press expert Manohari Timilsina.
The incumbent Prime Minister met with two former Prime Ministers in a bid to develop a common understanding on the matters of national importance among the parties in the existing ruling alliance, it is said.
A new political alliance among the CPN (UML), Rastriya Swatantra Party and Janata Samajbadi Party was formed on March 4, leading to the formation of a new government in which the CPN (Unified Socialist) has also been included.
